Ukraine’s Defence Forces strike 20 Russian military concentration points – General Staff report

Ukraine’s Defence Forces repelled attacks by Russian troops, performed ground and air strikes, hitting 22 areas of concentration of Russian military personnel, weapons and equipment, as well as 2 positions of anti-aircraft missile systems.

Details: Over the course of the last 24 hours, the Russians carried out five airstrikes and six missile strikes. They also deployed multiple-launch rocket systems to fire more than 65 times. Civil infrastructure facilities of the settlements of Sumy, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts were attacked.

Over the past day, Ukraine’s Defence Forces units repelled Russian attacks in the vicinity of Yampolivka, Spirne, Rozdolivka, Blahodatne, Krasna Hora, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, and Paraskoviivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts there were no significant changes. No Russian offensive groups have been reported. The areas of the settlements of Rozhkovychi, Basivka, Oleksandrivka, Hrabovske in Sumy Oblast and Veterynarne, Strilecha, Hlyboke, Zelene, Neskuchne, Ohirtseve, Vovchansk, Starytsia, Budarky in Kharkiv Oblast came under fired from mortars and artillery.

On the Kupiansk front, Russian forces attacked positions of our troops near Ivanivka, Kupiansk, Kyslivka, Kotliarivka in Kharkiv Oblast and Novoselivske, Kovalivka in Luhansk Oblast.

On the Lyman front, Novoiehorivka, Nevske, Chervonopopivka, Kreminna and Dibrova in Luhansk Oblast came under Russian fire.

On the Bakhmut front, the invaders shelled Verkhnokamianske, Spirne, Berestove, Bilohorivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Predtechyne, Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka, Druzhba and Maiorsk in Donetsk Oblast. 

On the Avdiivka front, Berdychi, Tonenke, Sieverne, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Heorhiivka, Marinka and Pobieda were shelled. 

On the Novopavlivka front, the settlements of Velyka Novosilka, Neskuchne, Novoukrainka, Bohoiavlenka, Vuhledar and Mykilski Dachi in Donetsk Oblast came under Russian fire.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, 20 settlements were affected by Russian fire, including Vremivka, Novopil in Donetsk Oblast and Malynivka, Huliaipole, Charivne, Orikhiv, Novodanylivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

On the Kherson front, the occupiers used multiple-launch rocket systems, tubed artillery and mortars to fire on areas in and around 21 settlements, in particular, Zolota Balka, Mykolaivka, Tiahynka, Poniativka, Antonivka, Berehove, Yantarne and Kherson. There were casualties among civilians.

Ukrainian aircraft carried out nine strikes on clusters of Russian military personnel, weapons and equipment, as well as two attacks on their positions of anti-aircraft missile systems. 

Ukraine’s Rocket Forces and Artillery units struck 13 clusters of Russian military personnel, a command post and an ammunition storage point.
