Ukraine starts second sowing season since the beginning of the war – Ukraine's PM

This week, Ukraine began its second sowing season since the full-scale Russian invasion.

Details: Shmyhal added that this week, Ukraine and Poland simplified border crossing for agricultural products.

"We are working on the continuation of the grain initiative and the expansion of the transshipment of the Danube ports," he said.

Earlier: At the end of January, Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Taras Vysotskyi stated that due to hostilities or temporary occupation of territories, it is currently impossible to use 25% of agricultural area for sowing.
