Civilians completely banned from using watercraft in Kherson Oblast

All civilians have been banned from using any watercraft in Kherson Oblast.

Quote: "Ships and other watercraft have been banned from entering and staying on water facilities in Kherson Oblast.

The decision was taken to ensure the safety of the shipping industry and citizens, as well as to minimise the risks of sabotage and terrorist threats in Ukraine's inland waters.

The ban applies to all types of watercraft, including sports vessels, fishing boats, recreational boats, etc. The exceptions are vessels of the Ukrainian Defence Forces and specialists engaged in the protection of aquatic bioresources."

Details: The order was signed by Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson Oblast Military Administration, and Brigadier General Mykhailo Drapatyi, commander of the Operational Grouping Kherson.

The ban will remain in force until martial law is lifted or a separate decree is issued.
