"We discussed the necessary efforts to consolidate support for Ukraine by countries of the Global South. In particular, we discussed the involvement of these countries in the implementation of our 10-step Peace Formula," the head of state added.

Denmark and the Netherlands lead the fighter jet coalition, which is discussing the training of Ukrainian pilots on Western combat aircraft and the potential supply of fighter jets.

The Danish authorities are prepared to send F-16 fighters to Ukraine provided that the United States, which produces these aircraft, approves the decision.

Prime Minister Mark Rutte said that the Netherlands has not yet decided to provide Ukraine with F-16 fighters, but is "seriously considering" it.
