Information about more than 24,000 people was added to register of missing people – Commissioner

Oleh Kotenko, Commissioner for People Missing Under Special Circumstances, said that the Unified Register of Missing Persons included information about more than 24,000 people, and there is no information on about 7,000 of them.

Details: Kotenko noted that more than 8,000 people were found, of which 60% are alive or in captivity.

In addition, there is information about the possible place of stay or place of death of almost 8,000 people.

At the same time, Kotenko stated that there is no information about approximately 7,000 missing people.

He said that more than 300 people who have been missing since 2014 are also being sought.
