Russian attack on Kryvyi Rih: hospital personnel speaks of victims' condition

On 31 July, Kryvyi Rih City Clinical Hospital No. 2 hosted 20 wounded as a result of a Russian strike on an apartment building; three of them are in intensive care.

Details: Pashkov said the hospital took 20 wounded people in, 13 men and 7 women. Of these, three patients are in serious condition, and 14 are in a state of moderate severity.

Several people are in the intensive care unit. As a result of the attack, people received shrapnel wounds, soft tissue bruises, polytrauma, and fractures of the lower limbs.

Klymovych said that three other patients were treated on an outpatient basis: "In the emergency room, they were bandaged; patients will continue treatment."

As for the 17 victims admitted to the hospital, patients in critical condition are receiving care in operating rooms.

Among the hospitalised are not only the residents of the destroyed buildings, but also inhabitants of two neighbouring houses, as well as people who were wounded after the strike on an educational institution.

  • On the morning of 31 July, explosions rang out in the city of Kryvyi Rih, with the Russians launching a missile attack on the city, targeting a high-rise residential building.  
  • The Russians attacked Kryvyi Rih with two ballistic missiles: one hit a residential high-rise building, and the other targeted an educational institution. So far, the Russian attack has claimed the lives of 4 people. Another 53 people were injured, including 3 children. Three injured are in serious condition, one in critical condition. The search through the rubble continues, there may be people under it.
