Zelenskyy convenes daily meeting to discuss air defence and preparations for winter, listens to intelligence reports

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has held a conference call to discuss, among other things, the supply of ammunition and equipment for Ukrainian troops, Russian plans, as well as the preparation of the Ukrainian energy system and air defence for winter.

Quote: "Daily conference call. We are constantly monitoring the supply of equipment and ammunition, and the pace of our own production. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defence have been instructed to work with partners to ensure that the next defence packages contain exactly what we need.

[I listened to] Intelligence reports on the tactical and strategic plans of the invaders and the state of its military industry. Preparation of the energy system and air defence for winter [was also discussed]".

Details: During the meeting, the participants talked through the handling of the aftermath of Russian shelling of civilian targets, evacuation from the Kupiansk district, assistance to victims, and the construction of new housing in Kherson and Kyiv oblasts.

They also discussed the functioning of the grain corridor:
