F-16s to be delivered as soon as pilot training is over – Ukraine's Foreign Minister

Dmytro Kuleba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, has said that his country will receive F-16 fighter jets when training of Ukrainian pilots on these particular jets is completed.

Quote: "As soon as the training is over [the planes will arrive – ed.]. I think the Ukrainian pilots will return from the training and the planes will arrive with them. They may not arrive in the cockpits, but it will be a synchronised process.

Believe me, this week the president has been having meetings every day and talking about speeding up this process. I will say diplomatically: I think there will be good news soon."

Details: Kuleba pointed out that the issue of provision of the F-16s to Ukraine is no longer political, but purely technical.
