Ukrainians are ready for F-16 flight training in Denmark – Ukraine's Commander-in-Chief
General Valerii Zalyzhnyi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, announced on Wednesday a conversation with General Flemming Lentfer, the Chief of the Danish Defence Staff.

Details: Zaluzhnyi noted that the focus of his conversation with his Danish counterpart was the ongoing training of Ukrainian pilots and engineers on the F-16s in Denmark.
"General Lentfer said that some of our pilots have already successfully completed the preparatory measures and can start flight training," Zalyzhnyi added.
The parties also agreed to start working on logistics to ensure the maintenance and repair of the F-16s in Ukraine.
"I thanked the Danish people and the government for the decision to transfer 19 F-16 aircraft to Ukraine and their comprehensive support in the fight against the Russian aggressor," Zaluzhnyi said.
Background: Ukrainian pilots have already started F-16 fighter training in Denmark. In addition, Greece and Portugal will join the training of Ukrainians on the F-16s.
The decision to transfer the F-16s to Ukraine has already been announced by Denmark, the Netherlands and Norway.
