Aftermath of missile attack on Khmelnytskyi Oblast: houses and bus station damaged

As a result of a Russian missile attack on 5 August, several residential buildings, a cultural institution, a bus station and a commercial building have been damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Quote: "Tonight, during an air raid, Khmelnytskyi Oblast was once again attacked by the enemy. There were a series of explosions in one of the oblast’s hromadas [an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.].

We are grateful to our air defence forces for their high quality work.

At the same time, the blast wave damaged the roof, doors and windows of several private homes, shattered windows in one of the municipal cultural institutions, a bus station and a commercial building."

Details: Khmelnytskyi Oblast Military Administration reported that there were no casualties.

Background: On the evening of 5 August, explosions were heard during an air-raid warning in Khmelnytskyi and Zhytomyr oblasts. The Air Force reported that the Russians used Kinzhal hypersonic aeroballistic missiles.
