Former pro-Russia movement coordinator becomes Pivdennoukrainska NPP spokesperson
Yaroslav Malenchenko, former coordinator of the Ukrainsky Vybir (Ukrainian Choice) pro-Russian movement, has become the spokesperson of Pivdennoukrainska (South-Ukrainian) Nuclear Power Plant (PNPP).

Details: Judging from the publications in the media, in 2013 Malenchenko became a coordinator and official representative of the Ukrainsky Vybir in Mykolaiv Oblast.
This is a pro-Russian organisation founded in 2012 by Viktor Medvedchuk, the former Ukrainian MP and associate of Vladimir Putin. Leaders of this organisation were later served with a notice of suspicion for organising illegal referendums in occupied Crimea.
Specifically, according to materials from the media, in 2013 Malenchenko participated in the protest against an EU representative’s visit to the city of Mykolaiv. He then claimed that "European way of development is a way to the destruction of Ukraine’s independence".
