Details: The prosecutors proved that the 37-year-old resident of Zaporizhzhia, who holds pro-Russian views, voluntarily provided the Russians with information about the points of deployment and movements of Ukrainian troops in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and guided Russian missiles towards critical infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia.

The SSU reports that he was employed at a local defence plant. He guided Russian missiles towards the plant’s production departments and adjusted a series of airstrikes on energy facilities in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. The Prosecutor’s Office added that the man’s tip-offs played a role in numerous attacks on Zaporizhzhia’s critical infrastructure.

He sent locations and detailed descriptions via text and video messages using a private Telegram channel.

The Prosecutor’s Office stressed that the defendant had pleaded not guilty and had displayed "complete indifference to the consequences of his activities".

He was found guilty of treason (under Article 111.2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and sentenced to life prisonment and confiscation of all his assets. He will remain in custody until the verdict takes effect.
