Air-raid siren sounds in Sevastopol, Russians close Crimean Bridge again and report air defence work

An air-raid warning was issued in temporarily occupied Sevastopol at 11:22. The Russians immediately closed Kerch (Crimean) Bridge and reported that air defence was responding.

Details: Razvozhayev posted an air-raid alert message on social media with recommendations to close the windows, turn off the water, turn off the gas and lights and either go to shelter or hide in the house behind a load-bearing wall.

The Russians also reported that motor vehicle traffic on the Crimean Bridge had been temporarily suspended.

Quote: "Those who are on the bridge and in the inspection area are asked to remain calm and follow the instructions of the transport security officers," the message reads.

After some time, Razvozhayev announced the work of the air defence forces in the city.

Quote: "The air defence system is responding in Sevastopol. Please keep calm. All services are on alert."

Details: Russian proxy also added that the smoke in the area of Sevastopol Bay is due to the Russian military supposedly using camouflage devices.

Later, Razvozhayev claimed that early reports indicated that "the Russian soldiers shot down two air targets over Sevastopol".

Quote from Razvozhayev: "All services are monitoring the situation. The Unified Emergency Dispatch Service has reported that wreckage crashed into the territory of school No. 27 on the North Side [a district in Sevastopol located on the northern shore of Sevastopol Bay], Pasichna Street and [the town of] Inkerman. I ask everyone to maintain calm and stay in shelters so far."

Updated: Later, the Russian Ministry of Defence claimed that Crimea was attacked with eight Storm Shadow missiles [a UK/French missile in service in Ukraine – ed.], and that all eight were downed by air defence systems.
