Russians attack Sumy Oblast, killing three people

The Russians launched 22 attacks on the border areas of Sumy Oblast, killing three people and injuring three more, over the past 24 hours.

Details: A total of 106 explosions were observed. Krasnopillia, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Khotin, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, Seredyna-Buda and Svesa hromadas came under Russian fire [a hromada is an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.].

The Russians deployed mortars (19 explosions) and artillery (2 explosions) to hit Krasnopillia hromada. 

Seredyna-Buda hromada was attacked by Russian mortars (11 explosions), artillery (3 explosions), and multiple launcher rocket systems (7 explosions). Three people died in the attack, including a 7-year-old girl who died in hospital. Three people were also injured.

The Russians used mortars (22 explosions) and artillery (2 explosions) to strike Velyka Pysarivka hromada. 

Four mines were dropped on the territory of Svesa hromada.

Yunakivka hromada was attacked by Russian mortars (16 explosions), artillery (8 explosions), and explosive devices, dropped from UAVs (2 explosions).

Bilopillia hromada came under Russian artillery fire (2 explosions).

The Russians deployed mortars to attack Esman hromada (2 explosions).

The Russians deployed mortars to attack Khotin hromada (6 explosions).
