The Ministry of Finance added that the funds raised are the result of a successful second review of the EFF program by the IMF Executive Board.

Quote: "Powerful and critical support from the IMF will help to timely finance the priority expenditures of the state budget and ensure macroeconomic stability in the conditions of martial law. The EFF program will continue to form a reliable basis for the development of the economic program of the Government of Ukraine on the way to full integration into the EU", noted Serhii Marchenko, Ukraine's Minister of Finance.

Ukraine has already attracted about US$4.5 billion from the US$15.6 billion foreseen by the EFF program (US$11.6 billion special borrowing rights).
