IMF to disburse US$690 million to Ukraine in coming days

The International Monetary Fund's Executive Board has completed the first review of the new programme for Ukraine under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF), paving the way for Ukraine to receive around US$690 million from the IMF in the coming days.

Details: With this latest tranche, the total amount of funding provided to Ukraine under the new EFF programme will reach around US$2.2 billion.
"All quantitative performance criteria and indicative targets under the programme had been met as of the end of March.
As part of the review, updated deadlines for implementing structural reforms and measures for the programme's continued implementation were agreed," Koretskyi wrote.
He added that the government plans to accelerate the implementation of the reforms agreed with the IMF.
