Defence Forces repel over 30 Russian attacks on left bank of Kherson Oblast – General Staff
The Russian invaders have not abandoned their intentions to drive the Defence Forces out of the left (eastern) bank of Kherson Oblast, with Ukrainian soldiers repelling more than 30 Russian attacks in this area over the past day alone.

Quote: "In the area of responsibility of the Odesa Operational Strategic Group on the Kherson front, Ukrainian soldiers continue efforts to expand their foothold. Despite all their failures, the enemy did not abandon their intention to drive our units out of their positions and carried out more than 30 unsuccessful assault operations. They received a worthy response and retreated with losses. Our defenders are engaged in counter-battery combat, inflicting fire on the enemy's rear."
Details: In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Operational Strategic Group on the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 Russian attacks near the settlement of Synkivka, east of Petropavlivka and Ivanivka (Kharkiv Oblast), where the Russians were trying to break through the Ukrainian defences.
On the Lyman front, Ukrainian troops repelled 13 Russian attacks near Bilohorivka (Luhansk Oblast) and east of Terny and Spirne (Donetsk Oblast).
On the Bakhmut front, Ukrainian soldiers repelled seven Russian attacks near the settlements of Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka and Andriivka (Donetsk Oblast).
In the area of responsibility of the Tavriia Operational Strategic Group on the Avdiivka front, the Ukrainian Defence Forces persisted in holding back the Russians, as they have never ceased their attempts to encircle the town of Avdiivka. Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the Russians. The Ukrainian army repelled 14 Russian attacks near Novokalynove, east of Novobakhmutivka and Avdiivka, and 22 more south of Sieverne, Pervomaiske and Nevelske (Donetsk Oblast).
On the Marinka front, Ukrainian defenders are holding back the Russians near Marinka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk Oblast), repelling 10 attacks in the area.
On the Zaporizhzhia front, Ukrainian troops repelled six Russian attacks west of Verbove and south of Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia Oblast).
Meanwhile, on the Melitopol front, Ukrainian defenders are taking active steps to inflict losses in military personnel and equipment on the Russians, exhausting them along the entire line of contact.
A total of 99 combat engagements took place over the past 24 hours. The Russians launched 5 missile strikes and 68 airstrikes and bombarded the positions of Ukrainian forces and populated areas 88 times using multiple-launch rocket systems.
Ukraine's Air Force struck 16 areas where Russian military personnel, weapons and equipment were concentrated, and hit an anti-aircraft missile system. In addition, Ukrainian air defence downed one Kh-59, an air-launched air-to-ground missile.
Units from Ukraine’s Rocket Forces and Artillery struck five clusters of Russian military personnel, weapons and equipment, six artillery pieces and an ammunition storage point belonging to the Russians.
