Several workers are known to have been injured. The passengers were in a shelter.

Quote: "Our plan is as follows: we are waiting for the situation around the station to stabilise, we are transferring people to buses from the station square to Mykolaiv (thanks to the Kherson Military Administration for their immediate assistance), and there, we are now preparing reserve railway carriages so that we can take over 100 passengers to safety.

The situation is under control and the railway workers are ready to keep the service running."
