Special Operation Forces destroy two Russian Nona-S with HIMARS fire – video

Ukrainian defence forces have destroyed two Russian Nona-S self-propelled artillery systems on the Zaporizhzhia front.

Details: It is noted that during reconnaissance operations on the Zaporizhzhia front, operators of one of the SOF units discovered two Russian 2C9 Nona-S self-propelled artillery systems.

The SOF operators directed HIMARS fire from a missile and artillery unit of the Defence Forces on the Russian targets. It is reported that due to precise fire adjustments, both self-propelled artillery systems were destroyed.

For reference: Nona-S is designed to provide direct fire support to airborne troops on the battlefield, with its main weapon being a 120-mm mortar gun.
