Ukraine's air defence forces down all Shahed drones and aviation missile

Ukraine’s air defence has intercepted 42 Shahed attack drones and a Kh-59/69 air-to-surface missile on the night of 18-19 September.

Quote: "The occupiers struck Kharkiv Oblast with three S-300/S-400 missiles from Belgorod Oblast, one Kh-59/69 guided missile from the airspace of [the] temporarily occupied [territories of] Zaporizhzhia Oblast and 42 Shahed attack drones (launch areas: Russia’s Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Kursk)."

Details: Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile troops, mobile fire groups and electronic warfare units of Ukraine’s defence forces were involved in repelling the attack. As a result of the combat efforts, all 42 attack drones were destroyed.

In addition, the Kh-59/69 missile was intercepted on the eastern front. 

Air defence was responding in Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Rivne, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts.
