US secretary of state confirms to NATO secretary general that US ready to abandon peace efforts in Ukraine

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has informed NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte during a phone call that the United States is prepared to withdraw from its mediating efforts to establish peace in Ukraine if a clear path to peace does not emerge soon.

Details: Bruce reported that Rubio had informed Rutte about the peace proposal that was presented on Thursday to the Ukrainian delegation in Paris and to Russian officials by phone.
