Quote from Lieutenant General Yevhen Moisiuk, Deputy Defence Minister of Ukraine: "The training centre, established with the support of European partners, specifically Norway, will provide training for the defence forces and enhance the exchange of combat experience between the Ukrainian Armed Forces and NATO. Here we will also be able to share our expertise with partners, including in the use of drones and countermeasures against them."

The decision to establish the training centre was made in May 2025. Its official opening took place on 1 October.

The centre is located on one of the Polish Army's training grounds.

Quote from the Ministry of Defence: "It is part of NATO's support for Ukraine and lays the foundation for further cooperation in strengthening defence capabilities.

There are already 250 Norwegian instructors on site, with Estonian personnel and troops from other Alliance countries expected to join them soon."
