Russians launch drone attack on Odesa Oblast: five injured, fires break out – photos, video

Five people have been injured, large fires have broken out and civilian, port and energy infrastructure have been damaged due to a Russian drone attack on Odesa Oblast on the night of 8-9 October.

Quote from Kiper: "During the night, the enemy launched a large-scale attack on Odesa Oblast using loitering munitions. Most of the enemy assets have been destroyed by air defence forces, but civilian, port and energy infrastructure have sustained damage. Early reports indicate that five people have been injured. All are receiving medical assistance."

Details: Kiper said that two houses and an administrative building belonging to a petrol station had caught fire, while another four houses had been damaged.

A fire also broke out in the port area, where containers filled with vegetable oil and wooden pellets ignited.

Emergency workers are currently dealing with the aftermath of the attack.

Over 30,000 consumers have been left without power.
