Russian attack on Cherkasy Oblast: 10 injured, hydroelectric power plant dam closed, infrastructure damaged

Ten people, including a child, have sustained injuries in the Russian attack on Cherkasy Oblast. In addition, a high-rise building and infrastructure facilities have been damaged.

Quote: "Enemy attacks caused consequences for the oblast's infrastructure. In particular, debris from a downed missile damaged a high-rise building in Kaniv. Early reports indicate that one person had been injured. The enemy also targeted critical infrastructure. At present, the hydroelectric power plant dam is closed to traffic."

Details: Taburets said three people had been injured in the Russian attack.

He also added that air defence forces had downed eight Russian drones and a cruise missile over Cherkasy Oblast.
All the appropriate services are operating at the scene.

Update: Later, the State Emergency Service reported that ten people had been injured in the Russian attack on Cherkasy Oblast, including a 10-year-old boy.

"Early reports say that seven high-rise buildings and a house had been damaged. First responders were deblocking apartments where they recovered six people. They also dismantled damaged structures," the service said.
According to Taburets, a kindergarten and a school were also damaged, with mostly broken windows.
