On 11 November, units of Ukraine's defence forces struck facilities at the Orsk oil refinery in Russia's Orenburg Oblast.

Details: Explosions and a fire have been reported at the scene of the strike. Early reports indicate that one of the refinery's primary oil processing units was hit. The results of the strike are being confirmed.

The plant produces over 30 petroleum products – including petrol, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene and lubricating oils – with a designed refining capacity of 6.6 million tonnes of oil per year. The company is involved in supplying the Russian occupation forces.
