Details: According to unnamed US officials, the plan is still being developed, and any final agreement will require concessions from both sides – not only from Ukraine.

US officials said that some of the points currently being discussed – including those that appear to favour Moscow – are not final and will almost certainly be changed.

The plan, reviewed and supported by US President Donald Trump, is the latest attempt by the White House to end Russia's war against Ukraine. Some provisions of the plan – including territorial concessions in areas not currently controlled by Russia – have previously been described as unacceptable by the Ukrainian side. However, US officials believe there is a renewed opportunity to restart peace negotiations.

CNN notes that the plan is still being drafted, and many of its points have not yet been fully agreed.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Wednesday evening that the document is "a list of potential ideas", not a final proposal.

Background: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has officially received the draft plan from the US side and is ready to discuss it.
