Three civilians killed and 20 injured, including children, in Russian strikes on Kharkiv Oblast

Two people have been killed and six have been injured in a large-scale Russian attack on the city of Lozova in Kharkiv Oblast on the night of 11-12 February. Overall, the Russians killed three people and injured 20, including children, in the region over the past day.

Quote from Kharkiv Oblast Prosecutor's Office: "On the night of 11-12 February, the armed forces of the Russian Federation carried out a combined large-scale attack on the city of Lozova using, based on early reports, ballistic missiles and Geran-2 loitering munitions. As a result of the assault, a man and a woman have been killed. A further six people have been injured and are in a state of acute shock."

Details: The attack lasted approximately from 01:30 to 04:00.

"Strikes have caused damage and destruction to civilian infrastructure. A warehouse building at the premises belonging to a business caught fire. Garages belonging to a farm and houses have been damaged," the prosecutor's office added.

Syniehubov reported that the Russians had killed three people and injured 20, including children, in Kharkiv Oblast over the past day.

A 63-year-old woman was killed and men aged 59, 49 and 44 were injured in a Russian attack near the village of Bryhadyrivka in the Balakliia hromada. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.] In the settlement of Zolochiv, two boys aged 14 and 15 were injured. In the city of Barvinkove, women aged 63, 62, 57, 48, 44, 33, 34 and 33 as well as a 27-year-old man were injured. In the city of Lozova, a 55-year-old man and an 88-year-old woman were killed, and men aged 49, 41 and 59, along with women aged 78, 64 and 52, were injured.

Over the past day, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv Oblast with 3 missiles (type to be confirmed); 8 guided aerial bombs; 9 Geran-2 UAVs; 1 Lancet UAV; 2 Molniya UAVs; 5 first-person view (FPV) drones; and 14 other UAVs (type to be confirmed).

The Russian strikes caused damage and destruction to some civilian infrastructure facilities, houses, a farm, a warehouse building, a shop, garages, power lines, cars, an ambulance and a bus.
