Most likely, the next meeting will take place in the Emirates – in Abu Dhabi. We expect the format to take place in early March. We need to finalise everything achieved so far for real security guarantees and prepare a meeting at the leaders' level – and this is exactly the format that can resolve many issues."

Details: Zelenskyy said that on 26 February he spoke with Ukrainian negotiators – Rustem Umierov, National Security and Defence Council Secretary, Davyd Arakhamiia, Servant of the People parliamentary faction leader, as well as with representatives of US President – Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

Umierov specified that on 26 February in Geneva they "completed another round of talks". This refers to a separate meeting with the US side and a trilateral meeting involving the US and Switzerland.

After that, Ukrainian and US representatives spoke with Zelenskyy.

Following meetings, Umierov said that the next round of talks is being prepared: "We are working on finalising the security parameters, economic decisions, and agreed positions that should form the basis for further arrangements. The objective is to make the next trilateral meeting involving the United States and Russia as substantive as possible".

Zelenskyy stressed the importance of meeting at the leader level: "leaders decide key issues and when it comes to Russia – such a personalist regime – this is relevant even more than in other countries".
