Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said he has "issued updated directives" for the Ukrainian delegation regarding further negotiations with Russia and the United States on potential parameters for ending the war.

Details: Zelenskyy said the time and venue for the next round of negotiations will be determined "depending on the security situation and real diplomatic possibilities".

"I have issued updated directives to our negotiating team and the broader Ukrainian diplomatic team," Zelenskyy said.

He reiterated that it is time for Russia to end its aggression and that the peace Ukraine seeks must be genuine.

Previously: Zelenskyy reported earlier that the next round of trilateral talks is expected to take place in Abu Dhabi at the beginning of March.

He also stated that he sees a window of opportunity to achieve peace in the Russo-Ukrainian war before the US midterm elections.
