A nationwide blackout has hit all provinces of Iraq on Tuesday 4 March.

Details: Iraq's Ministry of Electricity has officially confirmed the outage.
The cause of the blackout remains unknown, journalists said.
Background: Iraq has begun cutting oil production because storage tanks are full and is ready to reduce output by about 3 million barrels a day if the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz continues.
