Quote: "Ground robotic systems are our brothers-in-arms on the battlefield. We do not leave those injured or damaged behind – we evacuate them."

Details: The Brigade says armoured vehicles can no longer reach some routes, so ground robotic systems operate there instead. They deliver ammunition and evacuate wounded fighters.

The soldiers note that videos of robots delivering supplies or evacuating people appear frequently, but footage of damaged robots being evacuated is rarely released.

Quote: "Logistics through the kill zone is extremely difficult – there is a constant risk of remaining in the field forever. Ground robotic systems are expensive pieces of equipment that do the heavy lifting and often end up being expendable."

Details: The soldiers added that they try to preserve the equipment and do not leave the robots in the grey zone, as the systems can still operate and save lives.

"One limb has been amputated… the Starlink is gone. But more or less it will live and work," soldiers say in the video while showing a damaged wheel of the evacuated robot.

Previously: The 1st Separate Medical Battalion reported earlier that its troops evacuated a Ukrainian infantry soldier using a ground robotic system after he was suspected of having a stroke while at a position. The man had lost the use of his legs and could not move on his own.
