Kirill Dmitriev, an envoy of Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin, is currently in the US, where he is holding talks with members of US President Donald Trump's administration on a potential peace agreement on Ukraine and economic cooperation between the US and Russia.

Details: Reuters noted that Dmitriev's visit comes ahead of a US decision on whether to extend the temporary easing of sanctions on Russian oil, which is set to expire on 11 April. This issue may also be on the agenda.
Previously: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said a trilateral meeting involving the US on ending Russia's war against Ukraine will take place soon, although its format has not yet been finally decided.
Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Ukrainian President's Office, said on 4 April that he expects that a US delegation may arrive in Kyiv after Orthodox Easter.
