Russian drones attack Konotop, fires break out – photo

Konotop Mayor Artem Semenikhin has reported a strike in the city centre and fires in an office building and a high-rise residence building.

Details: Shortly after 04:00, Semenikhin reported a drone attack on Konotop.

He later said there had likely been a strike in the city centre, followed by a fire.

Quote: "An office building is on fire in the centre…"

Details: At 05:18, Semenikhin reported another explosion in the city.

Update: Semenikhin later said a five-storey residential building had been hit, causing a fire.

He also reported that cars were burning following the strike.

Update: Semenikhin added that gas mains had been damaged in one of the central districts of the city.

Quote: "Several high-rise buildings have been left without gas."

"As of now [05:50], the fires have been extinguished. At least three cars have been destroyed. Early reports indicated no casualties."

"We are relocating residents from destroyed and damaged properties."
