Russian forces advance near state border in Sumy Oblast

Russian forces have advanced near two villages in Sumy Oblast close to the border with Russia, DeepState, a Ukrainian group of military analysts, has reported.

Previously: On 14 April, DeepState reported that Russian forces continue to create a buffer zone along the state border in Sumy Oblast.

The newly formed area of Russian control and infiltration (red and grey zones) along the border in Sumy Oblast currently amounts to about 150 sq km.
