A train driver's assistant has been killed in a Russian attack on the marshalling yard at Zaporizhzhia-Live railway station on the morning of 22 April.

"Russia attacked the railway this morning. An enemy drone struck the marshalling yard at Zaporizhzhia-Live station last night. A train driven by an electric locomotive was on the tracks at the moment of the strike. The driver's assistant suffered fatal injuries and died."

Background: Ivan Fedorov, Head of Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration, earlier reported that one person had been killed and another injured in a Russian attack on transport infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
