Death toll from Russian strikes on Dnipro rises to eight, 56 injured, children hurt in oblast

The death toll from Russian attacks on Dnipro on 25 April has risen to eight and the number of people injured has increased to 56. Six people have been injured in the Nikopol district.

Details: Hanzha reported that Russian forces had been attacking Dnipro in waves for over 20 hours using missiles and drones. At 18:00, he said the Russians had struck the city yet again, damaging a company's premises.
As a result of the attacks, six people were killed and 47 were injured. Two of them are in a critical condition.
In addition to Dnipro, the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts were also targeted throughout the day.
In the Nikopol district, six people were injured, including two children: a one-year-old girl and a four-year-old boy.
Update: At 19:08, Hanzha reported that eight people had been killed and 49 injured due to Russian attacks on Dnipro over the course of the day.
Rescue workers continue working at the site of the overnight Russian strike on a residential area. Another body was recovered from under the rubble of a destroyed four-storey building.
In addition, three people were injured in an evening Russian attack on Dnipro. Among those injured are two children: boys aged 11 and 14. A 50-year-old woman was also injured. All of them have been hospitalised in a moderate condition.
At 19:45, he reported that the number of people injured in the evening attack on Dnipro had risen to 10. Eight people are in hospital. Four people are in a serious condition – men aged 24, 26, 44, and 53.
Background:
- On the night of 24-25 April, Russian forces carried out a large-scale missile and drone attack on Dnipro, killing four people and injuring 21, including a child.
- Russian forces launched a second attack on Dnipro during the day on 25 April, killing one person. The death toll due to both strikes has risen to five and 46 people were injured, including five children.
- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that two people are still missing following the deadly attacks on Dnipro.
