Quote from the Ministry of Defence: "All products manufactured under the project will be transferred to the Ukrainian Armed Forces… The relevant agreement was signed in Kyiv by Lars Ragnar Aalerud Hansen, Norwegian Ambassador to Ukraine, and Serhii Boiev, Ukraine's Deputy Minister of Defence for European Integration."

Details: The defence ministry said the agreement will enable Ukrainian technology, which has proved its effectiveness on the battlefield, to be scaled up and will strengthen the defence capabilities of both countries.

The project will be funded by Norway.

This year, Norway plans to allocate over US$1.5 billion to purchase Ukrainian-made weapons for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The first systems manufactured in Norway are expected to be delivered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces by this summer.

The agreement also provides for the development of comprehensive industrial cooperation, including research.

Background: On 14 April, Ukraine and Norway signed a defence partnership declaration, under which Oslo will support the production of Ukrainian drones, and Kyiv will share its experience, data and other relevant information with Norway.
