Two people injured as Russian drone hits residential building in Kharkiv – photos

Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with drones on the night of 1-2 May, hitting a 12-storey residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district and leaving people injured.

Details: One person was injured after a Shahed drone struck the 11th floor of a high-rise residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district.
The man suffered shrapnel wounds to the chest.
Terekhov said the drone had not detonated, which helped avoid far more serious consequences.

He later added that another drone had hit cars in the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv, causing a fire. Two cars were destroyed and seven damaged.
In addition, debris from a Shahed drone was found near a residential building in the Saltivskyi district following the overnight attack.
Update: The State Emergency Service later reported that two people had been injured after a Russian drone had struck a high-rise residential building.
One resident was injured by fragments of shattered glass, while another suffered from shock. The former has been hospitalised.
