National Guard fighters report breakthrough of Russian line near Vovchansk – video
Fighters of the 23rd R.U.G. Assault Regiment of the 2nd Khartiia Corps have reported carrying out an assault operation on the Vovchansk front in April-May, during which they crossed the Russian line of combat contact.

Details: The fighters said they also cleared the Russian forward defensive positions to the depth of a company strongpoint.
According to Militarnyi, Ukrainian servicemembers and foreign volunteer soldiers from Latin American countries took part in the combat mission.
The groups reportedly advanced through forested areas on the left and right flanks near the village of Starytsia. A total of 50 personnel were deployed on the left flank and another 15 on the right. The journalists reported that the troops destroyed "more than 10 dugouts and [killed] 12 Russian soldiers".
