Air defence has been responding in Kyiv

In Kyiv, air defence forces have been responding to a Russian aerial attack on the afternoon of 17 May.

Details: Klitschko specified that air defence was engaging UAVs.

Earlier, the Air Force warned that a Shahed drone was heading towards Kyiv.

The air-raid warning in the capital was in effect for more than 45 minutes.

Background:

• Russia has continued an ongoing drone attack on Ukraine since the night of 16 May.
• On the morning of 17 May, Russian forces attacked Kryvyi Rih in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
