On 18 May, while travelling through the Ukrainian maritime corridor towards the ports of Greater Odesa, two civilian vessels flying the flags of Guinea-Bissau and the Marshall Islands were hit by UAVs. Details: According to the authority, both vessels sustained minor fires, which the crews extinguished independently.

Background:
