Quote: "It seems this is one of the Come Back Alive Foundation's largest drone deals. Once we could only dream about billion-hryvnia projects. And before that, we did not even dream of them. But if you work hard and set ambitious goals, everything is possible. These excellent Ukrainian drones – around 16,000 of them – will deliver tangible results on the battlefield and in the tactical depth."
Details: Chmut posted part of a document on X (Twitter) showing that the agreement covers three batches of drones with a combined value of UAH 1.37 billion (US$30.9 million) excluding VAT. Deliveries are scheduled to be completed by 15 June 2026.
The largest contract is worth more than UAH 804.8 million (around US$18.17 million), while the other two batches are valued at UAH 400.4 (US$9.13) million and UAH 165.3 million (US$3.73 million) respectively.
The specific drone models have not been disclosed, but Chmut clarified in replies to his X post that they are not interceptor drones.
Background: Earlier, the Come Back Alive Foundation handed 15 ground control stations for unmanned aerial systems over to Ukrainian troops.
