Russian drone attack on Kharkiv: 15 injured, including children – photos, video

Kharkiv came under a large-scale attack by Russian drones on the night of 8-9 June. Hits and fires have been recorded in at least two districts of the city and people have been injured, including children.

Details: Initial reports indicated a strike on the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv.
Later, a strike was reported in the Kholodnohirskyi district.
Both Terekhov and Syniehubov confirmed a large-scale drone attack on the city.
Quote from Syniehubov: "Kharkiv is under attack by enemy drones. A series of explosions has been heard."
Quote from Terekhov: "There is information that one person has been injured in the attack that continues."
Update: Terekhov reported that fires had broken out in the Shevchenkivskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts as a result of the strikes. A building belonging to a municipal utility company has been damaged and one employee injured.
At 01:51, Terekhov said the number of people injured in Kharkiv had risen to around 10.
Quote from Terekhov: "One of the strikes hit a high-rise residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district. Six people are confirmed to have been injured as of now. Around ten people in total have been affected across all impact sites."
Details: At around 02:30, Terekhov stated that the number of people injured had increased to 10.
Syniehubov provided further details on those injured.
Quote from Syniehubov: "Two children and one adult are suffering from shock as a result of the enemy attack on Kharkiv.
Two women aged 53 and 62 have been hospitalised with injuries of varying severity.
A 34-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman are suffering from shock.
A 21-year-old woman has received medical treatment at the scene."
Details: Syniehubov also posted photos showing the aftermath of another Russian strike on Kharkiv and reported significant damage.
Quote from Syniehubov: "Fires broke out, at least 18 cars were damaged, and windows were shattered and building facades damaged in high-rise residential buildings as a result of the strikes."


Update: At 03:20, Terekhov reported that the number of people injured had risen to 15.
Quote from Syniehubov: "Three children, including a one-year-old boy, required medical treatment.
Three women have been hospitalised."
