"... [We] have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aiming to scale production and deliver NATO-compliant unmanned aerial systems (UAS) in support of Europe's urgent defence readiness requirements," Skyeton said.

The agreement was signed at ILA Berlin 2026. Under the joint roadmap, the partners plan to establish an industrial platform in Germany focused on the development, industrialisation, production and commercialisation of autonomous components and subsystems, integrated with ONBERG autonomous systems as part of a multi-domain architecture.

According to Skyeton, the initial flagship project defines pathways for scaling and commercialising the Raybird UAV, a long-range reconnaissance platform.

"By scaling the Raybird systems alongside other autonomous solutions, the cooperation aims to establish a versatile, future-proof portfolio tailored to evolving defence needs. Raybird's combination with the large UGV of HDAT will be shortly tested in Ukraine and will be subject to the multi-domain business the partnership is aiming for," the Ukrainian company added.

Background:

  • Skyeton recently integrated an interceptor-detection module into the Raybird UAV to enhance its survivability. The upgrade enables real-time detection of hostile interceptors and alerts the operator to execute evasive manoeuvres to reduce the risk of engagement.
  • In summer 2025, Skyeton and UK-based Prevail Partners agreed to establish a joint venture to promote Ukrainian UAV systems in the United Kingdom.
