Zelenskyy: Trump and I discussed holding meeting with Putin in US

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that Ukraine proposed a meeting between the leaders of Ukraine and Russia, but Russian ruler Vladimir Putin does not want one.

We discussed with the US and France the possibility of a meeting with Russia around the G7, with all democratic nations represented. Putin does not want it."
Details: Zelenskyy added that on Sunday 14 June, he and US President Donald Trump discussed the possibility of holding a meeting in the United States, "in a format where Putin would find it much harder to refuse at least to President Trump".
Quote: "We will see what comes of it. If Russia refuses this chance as well, additional pressure will be needed."
