Russian-occupied Sevastopol reports repelling Ukrainian drone attack

Mikhail Razvozhayev, the Kremlin-appointed "governor" of Sevastopol, has said the city is being attacked by Ukrainian drones.

Quote: "In Sevastopol, the military are repelling an attack by Ukraine's Armed Forces. Air defences and mobile fire groups are operating. Two UAVs have been shot down in the Northern Side [district]."

Details: An air-raid warning was issued in the city at 13:30.

Background:

• On the afternoon of 19 June, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin claimed that Russian air defences shot down 25 drones that were heading towards the Russian capital.
• The Russian-installed occupation authorities in Crimea have banned the use of motorbikes and similar vehicles on the peninsula in the evening and at night from 17 June.
• Ukraine's Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov predicts that the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula will become isolated in the near future due to Ukrainian drone strikes.
