Details: Zelenskyy was asked to comment on reports in the German media that Germany's federal prosecutor had brought charges against Serhii Kuznetsov in the case concerning the explosions on the Nord Stream gas pipelines.
Quote: "We do not yet know all the details of this process. We have not officially received all the details, at least I have not seen them. The relevant authorities of our countries will get in touch, and when we receive more details, we will probably be able to respond. For now, it is too early to speak."
ARD, the joint association of Germany's regional public-service broadcasters, and German media outlets Süddeutsche Zeitung and Die Zeit reported that Federal Public Prosecutor General Jens Rommel accused the Ukrainian citizen of attacks on civilian energy infrastructure, which constitute a war crime under international criminal law, as well as of causing an explosion and destroying structures.
The Ukrainian man is currently in custody in Hamburg after he was detained while on holiday in Italy last summer and later extradited to Germany.
