Three people injured in Russian attack on Kyiv Oblast

Three men have been injured in a Russian missile and drone attack on Kyiv Oblast on the night of 1-2 July.

Quote: "Three men have been injured in the Bucha district. Two of them, diagnosed with closed head injuries, burns and lacerations to the head, have been taken to hospital for treatment."

Details: Another man sustained cuts to his face and was treated at the scene.

Background:

• Kalashnyk reported that Russian forces had launched a large-scale attack on Kyiv Oblast using drones, ballistic missiles and cruise missiles. Damage and destruction caused by the attack was recorded in five districts of the oblast.
• Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on 1 July that Russia was preparing a new large-scale strike against Ukraine.
• It was later reported that Russian forces had attacked Kyiv with drones. Subsequently, missiles were also reported heading towards the capital.
