Seven people have been injured in a Russian missile and drone attack on Kyiv Oblast on the night of 1-2 July.

Quote: "Three men have been injured in the Bucha district. Two of them, diagnosed with closed head injuries, burns and lacerations to the head, have been taken to hospital for treatment."

Details: Another man sustained cuts to his face and was treated at the scene.

Update: After 09:00, Kalashnyk said the number of those injured had risen to seven.

"Two more people sought medical assistance in the Bucha district – a 58-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman... Two people were also injured in the Boryspil district. A 43-year-old woman was diagnosed with multiple abrasions to her back and as suffering from shock. A 50-year-old woman sustained a penetrating wound to her left shoulder," he said.

The State Emergency Service also reported that a fire had broken out at an industrial facility in the Bucha district. A house and a car were also damaged.

In the Brovary district, six houses, student accommodation and a car were damaged.

Damage to houses was also reported in the Obukhiv and Fastiv districts, while a vehicle was damaged in the Vyshhorod district.
