Zelenskyy reports talks between his team and Trump's son-in-law, whom he expects in Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has told journalists at the site of a Russian strike in Darnytskyi district of Kyiv that he still hopes for a visit by US special representatives to Ukraine.

Details: Zelenskyy reported that over the past two days, talks took place between National Security and Defence Council head Rustem Umierov and US President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner.
He also noted that he still hopes for a visit by Kushner and Trump's envoy Steve Witkoff to Ukraine, despite US-backed peace efforts to end the war having been stalled for several months.
Zelenskyy also expressed hope that he would meet Trump on the sidelines of the NATO summit in the Turkish capital Ankara next week.
