Three more bodies have been recovered from under the rubble of a destroyed section of a residential building in Kyiv's Darnytskyi district, bringing the death toll from the Russian attack to 30.

Background:
- On the night of 1-2 July, Russian forces launched a large-scale combined strike on Ukraine using attack UAVs as well as air-, land- and sea-launched missiles of various types. Ukraine's air defences downed 524 of the 570 aerial assets launched, although 25 ballistic missiles and 12 attack drones reached their targets.
- Kyiv was the primary target of the attack. As of midday on 2 July, 27 people had been killed and nearly 90 injured.
